2025 PlayCan sessions

For more information about our block of PlayCan at Newhailes please read our access guide here. Key points in our access guide include:

  • These sessions of PlayCan take place in an enclosed woodland area for peace of mind.

  • Toilets are available nearby, some with transfer access (no Changing Places toilet).

  • Accessible and free parking (no need to buy a parking pass).

  • The path to the East Grove has improved since our visit earlier in the year so access should be easier, however any new heavy rain/wet weather conditions may impact path conditions. We will endeavour to update families if access will be difficult. If you would like an ‘on the day’ path report please email nicola@elpa.org.uk by 10 am on event days and this can be sent to you before you make the journey.

Our visual story for Newhailes on the 24th and 31st July can be viewed here.
